The Kuragiri Shrine’s plaza was covered in fog. Yuto, Misaki, and Aya surrounded the stones, their flashlights trembling. Kenta’s voice whispered: “Yuto… your heart is weak…” The shadow grew, darkening the plaza.
“Keep going! Read the words!” Yuto shouted, rubbing his fists. The guilt over Takashi crushed him.
“Together!” Misaki said, clutching her necklace. Her eyes shone with determination.
“I’ll… try…” Aya whispered, tucking her hair. Her glasses trembled.
Ryo, behind, mocked. “You’re crazy!” and clicked his tongue.
Aya leyó las piedras con voz temblorosa: “Unidos… sellen la sombra… con corazones puros…”. Los tres empezaron a repetir las palabras, pero la sombra creció más.
—¡No funciona! ¡Falta Ryo! —gritó Misaki, apretando su collar.

Aya read the stones with a trembling voice: “United… seal the shadow… with pure hearts…” The three began chanting, but the shadow grew larger.
“It’s not working! We need Ryo!” Misaki shouted, clutching her necklace.
A shadow on the ground showed Kenta, with melting flesh. “You’ll never escape…” he whispered. Aya screamed, and Yuto shined the flashlight, but the shadow vanished.
“Ryo, join us!” Yuto shouted.
Pasos húmedos sonaron. El anciano apareció—. Sin unión… el ritual fallará… —y se desvaneció.
Ryo gritó—. ¡No creo en esto! ¡Me voy! —y corrió hacia la niebla.

Wet footsteps sounded. The old man appeared. “Without unity… the ritual will fail…” and vanished.
Ryo shouted. “I don’t believe in this! I’m leaving!” and ran into the fog.
Misaki called. “Ryo, wait! We need you!”
Kenta’s voice whispered: “Misaki… your heart wavers…” The shadow grew, filling the plaza with terror.
